Zinc

Zinc is one of the most useful minerals for our body, as it is a component present in more than 300 enzymes needed for cell regeneration, to maintain fertility, protein synthesis, eye protection, to increase immunity defense and to fight free radicals and others.

It has been shown that zinc deficiencies in the body may lower the level of testosterone, which results in lesser volume of ejaculation.

Principle of the test

Zinc reacts with the chromogen Nitro-PAPS in the presence of borate buffer, salicyladoxime and dimethylgioxima, resulting in a colored complex whose color intensity is proportional to the zinc concentrations present in the sample.

Type of analysis: end point. Reading at 578 nm. Pre-dilution of the sample (diluent provided in the kit).

Ratio R1 work / sample: 20/1. Stechiometry of reaction: R1 work / Sample: 1000/50 ml.

Liquid reagents, stable to the expiration date on the packaging.
