ILPT04L | Prothrombin time (PT) | 10×4 ml
Liquid reagent, ready to use, stable until to the expiry date. Kit contains a hight-sensitivity thromboplastin with tissue factor recombinant human (RTF) for the determination in citrated human plasma of PT or prothrombin time i.e. the time between the addition of calcium and fibrin formation. Since l’RTF used doesn’t contain contaminating coagulation factors , the kit has a different sensitivity to deficiencies of factors X, VII, V e II, making it suitable for determination of factors of the extrinsic pathway: the prothrombin time in fact depends on the plasma concentrations of fibrinogen (Factor I), of prothrombin (Factor II), of factors V, VII, e X. Therefore, the test is used to measure the deficit of just one of these factors or a combination thereof in citrated human plasma.
The reagent has been formulated to be sensitive to therapeutic levels of heparin. In the analysis of PT, the addition of the reagent to the plasma from patients in the presence of calcium ions initiates the activation of the extrinsic pathway. This operation ends in of fibrinogen to fibrin with the formation of a clot. It is widely used in the monitoring of oral anticoagulant therapy that causes an increase in prothrombin time for reduction of activity of vitamin K which acts on clotting factors: II, VII, IX, X as well as on Proteins C and S. Reaction at 37°C. Distribute 100 ml of citrated plasma and 200 ml of PT reagent.

ILPTT304040 | aPTT
Synthetic phospholipid |
10x4ml | ||||
Liquid reagent, ready to use and stable until to the expiry date. The activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT) is the time required for clot formation when you add to the sample citrated plasma the aPTT reagent synthetic Phospholipid, as homogeneous and standardized activator, and calcium chloride in order to make optimal activation of factor XII and then activate the coagulation process. the Test is used to monitor the system’s intrinsic factors of coagulation process: factors VIII, IX, XI e XII and Fletcher factor. It is also widely used in the monitoring of heparin therapy, that determines a prolungation of activated partial thromboplastin time in proportion to the amount of heparin present in the sample. It is not sensitive nor platelet function nor the Factor VII.
Studies have shown that the sensitivity to the decrease in concentration of factors VIII, IX, XI, XII of the intrinsic pathway of synthetic phospholipid APTT reagent is higher than that of the APTT Ellagic acid. Besides, the synthetic phospholipid APTT reagent is extremely sensitive to the presence of Lupus antiphospholipid antibodies (LAC). Reaction to 37°C. Dispense 100 ml of citrated plasma, 100 ml of reagent and 100 ml of calcium chloride (fornito separatamente). |

IL1890040 | Calcium chloride (CaCl2) | 1x10ml
To use with APTT ellagic acid and synthetic phospholipid APTT’s kit. Concentration 0.025 M.
IL74102 | Fibrinogen | 10×2 ml
Liquid reagent ready to use. Stable until the expiry date. the kit measures the clotting time, which is the exclusive expression of the amount of Fibrinogen present in the sample, using the method originally described by Clauss. In the presence of high concentrations of thrombin, the time required for clot formation in plasma diluted is inversely proportional to the concentration of fibrinogen. the plasma solution uner consideration with imidazole buffer (supplied separately) is used to minimize the interference of any anticoagulants such as heparin..
Reaction to 37°C. Dispense 200 ml of citrated plasma and 100 ml of PT reagent.
