Closed, small size device, ideal for collecting, transporting, fixing and filtering specimens to be subjected to parasitological examination: optimal hygiene conditions, ideal parasitic recovery.
The small size of the MINI-SYSTEM allows you to have reduced storage space and, consequently, reduce the material to be eliminated as a special waste.
Collection of samples (by the patient)
- Collect the stools in a clean container
- Avoid contamination with urine or water strong> li>
- Using the collecting spatula, transfer a sufficient amount of stools into the collection container with the fixative fluid already present in the container strong> li>
- Close the container and send it to the lab
In the laboratory
- Shake vigorously for 30 seconds the container in which the sample was collected
- Keeping the Mini-System upside down, replace the lower cap with the sediment cone supplied in the kit.
- Centrifuge for 3 minutes at 700 g (2000 rpm)
- Collect the sediment with a pipette, deposit some drops on a slide and observe the microscope

The double filter, the homogenization obtained thanks to the glass spheres make the sediment very clear, making the MINI-SYSTEM an extraordinary instrument for the search for parasites in faecal samples.
It does not include the use of ethyl acetate.
